What is DAC
The Dothan Alumni Cohort (DAC) hosts DAC Weekends to bring young adults connected to Dothan together to address local community challenges. The event promotes engagement, collaboration, and networking while partnering with local nonprofits to develop solutions. It also offers participants a chance to learn about Dothan’s history and future development.
The DAC Team
DAC is led by Christina Ross through the Wiregrass Foundation, providing strong leadership and vision. Supporting her is an exceptional advisory board that brings valuable insight and guidance. A passionate group of volunteers also plays a key role in bringing DAC’s mission to life. Together, these local Wiregrass professionals are dedicated to creating meaningful change in the community.
DAC Weekend
The DAC Weekend kicks off on Friday with a welcome event focused on socializing and connecting with the local advisory board. On Saturday, participants collaborate in groups to tackle a challenge faced by a local nonprofit, while also engaging with community leaders and exploring Dothan. The weekend wraps up on Sunday with group presentations and updates on local initiatives, offering ways to stay involved in the community.
